What is the difference between and isolator and a filter?
USB Isolator
A USB isolator completely separates the electrical connection between devices. If you’re dealing with ground loops or electrical safety an isolator is the better choice.
USB Filter
A USB filter cleans up the signal but still allows direct electrical contact. If you just need to reduce noise and interference a filter should be sufficient.
