Product details

Würth power line filter 810911010112 is a single phase filter offering broadband noise suppression in both common mode and differential mode with low leakage.  This can be applied to power supply inputs/outputs to provide filtering for conducted and radiated emissions and immunity although the frequency range for which this one is designed means it is most effective for conducted emissions and immunity.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose a power supply filter?

Check rated voltage, continuous current, leakage current, temperature derating, mounting and the approvals of the exact part. Select for the equipment’s normal operating conditions and the requirements of the complete installation.

Use the individual datasheet to compare the available 3 A and 10 A products, or ask us for help.

What frequency range does the power line filter act over?

Consult the insertion-loss curves for the exact filter. Attenuation varies with frequency and with the source and load impedances, so a typical datasheet curve does not guarantee the same reduction in every installation.

Where do I place a power line filter?

The filter effectiveness is greatly affected by the location of the filter.

The filter should be mounted as close as possible to point at which power lines enter the enclosure to reduce conducted emissions. Ideally, it should also be directly connected to the chassis using the chassis mounting points.
