This Faraday Shielding Bag is designed to reduce electromagnetic and radio frequency (RF) emissions from electronic devices while they are powered or stored. Manufactured from specialist Faraday fabric, it provides an effective and reusable solution for EMC testing, signal isolation, and interference reduction.
With a generous 35cm × 40cm internal size, the bag is suitable for routers, modems, network equipment, small electronics, and test devices. A dedicated opening at one end allows power or data cables to pass through while maintaining shielding around the device.
Key Features
- Faraday fabric construction
Made from conductive shielding fabric designed to provide good attenuation across a wide range of frequencies - Ideal for routers and network equipment
Suitable for containing Wi-Fi routers, modems, and access points during testing, troubleshooting, or interference reduction - Cable pass-through design
Integrated opening allows cables to exit one end of the bag for powered or connected devices - Generous internal size
Internal dimensions of 35cm × 40cm accommodate routers, networking hardware, and electronic equipment - Reusable & lightweight
Flexible fabric design allows easy deployment, folding, and repeated use - Reinforced stitched edges
Durable construction for workshop, laboratory, or field environments.
Recommended Use & Sealing Advice
For best performance, it is advised to fully seal the bag around the device once it has been placed inside.
Using Faraday fabric tape to seal folds, overlaps, and the cable exit area is highly suitable and helps maximise shielding effectiveness.
Correct sealing and careful cable routing can significantly improve overall attenuation performance.
Typical Applications
- Wi-Fi router and network equipment isolation
- EMC pre-compliance testing
- Reducing Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and RF emissions during diagnostics
- Isolating devices during troubleshooting
- Containing signal leakage from powered electronic equipment
- Educational, laboratory, and development environments
