Questions about this product

Will this filter work with Gigabit Ethernet?

This standard Ethernet filter supports 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps links. For 1000 Mbps data, choose the dedicated Gigabit Ethernet filter. Check both the required data rate and any PoE requirement.

Where should I place the filter?

Start close to the equipment you are investigating and keep the connection short. Filter performance depends on the interference source, cable routing and installation, so compare measurements or behaviour before and after fitting it.

What if my Ethernet cable also carries power?

PoE power pass-through is not specified for this filter. The separate KEN-137 model is for 10/100 Mbps development work; powered-link limits must be established for the application.
